Privacy Policy

After8 (“After8,” “we,” “us”) is operated by After8 Booking LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect from the hotels and hotel staff who use our hotel dashboard at hotel.after8.app, and how we use and share it. If you booked a stay as a traveler, the guest experience at after8.app is covered by its own privacy policy.

We collect the information needed to run your listing:

• Account information. The email address you use to sign in. We authenticate you with a magic link, so we don’t store a password.
• Listing information. When you claim your property we pull its name, address, and location from Google’s Places data, and we store the nightly floor rates, room details, and availability you set.
• Negotiation messages. The chat messages exchanged between your staff and guests when they negotiate a same-night rate.
• Booking outcomes. The offers you accept and the status you record for each booking (for example, arrived or no-show).
• Technical and usage data. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed) and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Guests pay you directly at your front desk, so no card data passes through After8.

• Operate your listing and keep it live once approved.
• Route negotiation chats between your staff and nearby guests and show guests the offers you accept.
• Review new listings for approval and verify that a claimant controls the property.
• Provide support, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
• Understand how the product is used so we can improve it, and send you service-related messages about your account.

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run After8, and with guests as needed to complete a negotiation:

• Guests. Travelers see your public listing details and the chat replies and offers you send them.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Vercel — hosts and serves the application.
• Google — provides Places and time-zone data used to set up your listing.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your account, listing, negotiation, and booking data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at hello@after8.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We’ll respond to reasonable requests.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above, and we’ll let you know if the changes are significant.
